The good folks at BPCM in New York City, created this nifty Fashion Week First Aid Kit. We’re in instant love.
New York – It’s not rocket science: Look at clothes: write about it. Go to a party: write about it. Meet a celeb: write about it. And if you can do it all while wearing particularly high heels – then you are exceptionally good at your job. But the cycle of look, write, repeat can be more draining than one can imagine. (Putting together my schedule alone – a six hour ordeal – already has me winded.) What’s a good Editor to do? “Keep Calm and Carry On.” At least those were the orders from our friends at BPCM, who sent this precious Fashion Week survival kit our way. What’s in it?
Heavenly balms to soothe your hands and sole from L’Occitane. An amazing fragrance solid from Diptyque and a floral spritz to wake you right up form Tata Harper. But it’s not all about soothing, it’s about jazzing, so they’ve included Maybelline’s new Falsies eye lashes and a sewing kit to mend your garments on the go. The best part? The cute, vintage style tin from “Keep Calm and Carry On.” A constant reminder that even if by the first show on the first day one wants to throw in the towel….Really the only thing that could make this better? A food voucher to NYC restaurants and car service. But one can’t have it all.
