RED CARPET MOMENT: BEST & WORST DRESSED OF 2010 EMMY AWARDS

Although fashion critics disapprove, the 2010 Emmy Awards red carpet was a sight for some daring eyes!

Los Angeles, CA – NY Times fashion columnist, Cathy Horyn didn’t really care too much for the looks on the red carpet of the 2010 Emmy Awards yesterday (Sunday, August 29) but there were a few looks that left us jumping for joy and others that made us keel over. Our top prize goes to January Jones (pictured above) who rocked out a totally chic (yet probably uncomfortable) electric blue Atelier Versace gown.  Everything from the messy hair to the embroided details, left us speechless. More best dressed included: Anna Paquin in Alexander McQueen, Rose Byrne in Gucci, Heidi Klum in a fun Marchesa frock, and Ryan Kwaten from True Blood who wore an interesting yet super cool take on a men’s tux.

Worst Dressed was a whole ‘nother story. Our picks mostly considered of dresses that had to much fabric on our fave petite stars (Leah Michele in Oscar de la Renta) or was just too bold a look on the red carpet (Rutina Wesley). Oi vey, maybe someone should resend the memo that “less is more”.

  1. I love that style is so subjective! So many people hated some of the styles that so many people loved, and vice versa.
