The Italian duo will make the players at London’s Chelsea Football Club a wardrobe for on and off the field.
World Wide Web- Just in time for the beginning o f Britain’s premier league soccer season next month Dolce & Gabbana will design a dressy outfit for the Chelsea Football Club players and a casual outfit. The dressy outfit is a three pieces, two-button suit in dark blue wool twill, a blue poplin shirt and a blue jacquard tie. On the suit’s pocket Chelsea’s lion crest will be stitched on. Sounds snazzy right? For the player’s down time, Dolce & Gabbana have designed a blue poplin shirt to be worn with dark blue jeans and black calfskin sneakers.
The club’s re-design doesn’t stop there Blaynistas. D & G will re-do the directors lounge at the stadium in West London. The coach and male/female execs will get the star treatment and have suits designed for them complete with a suitcase, shoes and gunmetal tie pie. The footballers will make their debut in the new casual clothes when they travel to Germany on Sunday to play Eintracht Frankfurt. They will wear the suits during the first game of the season on August 14th. How’s that for dressing for success? [WWD]
