WATCH OUT MS. ANNA WINTOUR, THERE MAY BE A NEW ANNA ON THE BLOCK

Rumors are swirling that W‘s newest editor-in-chief, Stefano Tonchi, wants Anna Dello Russo to become his fashion editor. Now that the Vogue Nippon editor-at-large was reportedly spotted at the magazine’s office, can this one fashion rumor actually be true?

New York – If you have been following The Sartorialist for the last few years, you are familiar with Anna Dello Russo or her envious style as she is considered a “Sartorialist Super All-Star.” So imagine our delight when her name popped up on our fashion news radar — thanks to the endless talk about who is rumored or reported to be headed to W. Yes, Blaynistas, the Vogue Nippon editor is the latest person to be rumored on who could join the Team Tonchi in W as she was spotted on the same floor as Tonchi’s office.

Okay before we start fantasizing how Dello Russo would shake things up at W, we have to ask would this move be good for us? There is a certain mystique to Dello Russo because we don’t know much about her here in the States except what she does and what she wears. There is also a certain untouchable quality about her and blame that to her effortlessly walking around in six inches heels around Paris and Milan while wearing Balenciaga or Balmain (and damn it she looks good doing it). So this brings us to our question: would becoming W‘s new fashion editor remove all the mystique as bloggers would be all over her if she relocates to the States? Oh who are we kidding? Anna come to W! We can make room for another “Anna” in New York City. But the bigger question is can Anna make room for another Anna? [Daily Front Row]
