Spanx has introduced a line for men, and believe it or not the stores can’t keep them in the stock! Is this the new thing? Are men secretly running out and buying Spanx?
World Wide Web – Once upon a time body shapewear was for women, almost, a rite of passage. Want to throw on your freakum dress? Not without your Spanx underneath. Want to give that booty a lift? Pull on the Spanx. Ladies, it seems that Spanx is no longer our little secret! The fellas are on to us. In February, Spanx released its first line for men, and it seems to be quite the hot ticket item!
“We’re selling them as quickly as Spanx can make them,” the men’s fashion director at Neiman Marcus told The New York Times. “Men may not be talking about it but they’re buying it.” Understandably the sales are highest online where there is no shame in admitting that you want a T-shirt that shapes your body. The Spanx undershirts retail for $58 and tanks go for $55. Now Blaynistos, if you think that’s a bit steep for an undergarment, remember it can give you pecs! [The New York Times]
