World Wide Web – Uncle Karl was asked to model for 3 Suisses, a French mail-order clothing catalog, but this time he was asked to pose with a model of, uh, a different make: a washing machine. Yes, a washing machine! Nothing haute about that, but get this Blaynistas, Karl actually enjoyed it. “It’s so chic and pretty,” he said to WWD. “I would like to have one — not to wash clothes but to put in my dressing room to hold my dirty laundry.” Of course, as if we expected anything less from the man. Lagerfeld also wants to branch out to the mass consumers with his own line. He told WWD, “My dream is to turn the whole house of Lagerfeld into this kind of [mass] business, because I am at the peak of luxury with Chanel and Fendi.
