Condé Nast took special pride in last night’s National Magazine Awards event. Anna Wintour, receiving the American Society of Magazine Editor’s highest honor, was inducted into the Hall of Fame for her outstanding contributions to the worlds of fashion and journalism. And five magazines won a total of eight “Ellies.”
The New Yorker took home three Ellies. Wired won two awards and Vanity Fair and GQ each received an Ellie. And Glamour became the first to win in a new category, Magazine of the Year, for its success in combining print and digital media to fulfill its editorial mission.
