FASHION NOTES: ANNA WINTOUR COMPLIMENTS BLOGGERS…SORT OF, JUICY ERIN FETHERSTON, SIZE ZERO MODELS NO MORE FOR CK

Lazy day? We can’t blame you as the sun is out and you are stuck inside the office. But don’t fret Blaynistas, here are some news for you that will brighten up your afternoon.

• Ms. Anna Wintour is becoming more and more the definition of “Editrix-in-chief.” Anna was at the Pratt Institute with European editor-at-large Hamish Bowl on Monday night as the duo discussed the history of fashion photography. One of the topics brought up in the conversation was fashion bloggers. In short summary, Anna isn’t threatened by you, the Tavis and Bryanboys of the world! Okay, in all seriousness, Anna said that “we embrace bloggers and video and social networking, and anyone that’s talking about fashion is a good thing,” but Vogue has “access and understanding of fashion” that not all bloggers have. • • When Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy announced that they were leaving Juicy Couture, we were left wondering what’s next for the brand that made velour tracksuits the go-to outfits for rich high school kids and “Cool Moms.” And now we know. 29-year-old designer Erin Fetherston has been tapped to guest design and to become the creative consultant for the company. “It’s exciting for me to dress the Juicy girl, which is a very large audience,” Fetherston said. “I’ve always admired the Juicy Couture brand. They’ve had incredible growth in such a short time. It’s an incredible honor to work here.” [Stylelist]

• • • Can it be? The times they are a changin’. Calvin Klein is taking their stance against using size zero models. Designer Francis Costa is reportedly done with casting size 0-2 models as it has become “a little too formulaic” for him, and he is shaking it up by favoring size 2-4 models. What do you say, Blaynistas? We do miss it when there were more models who had bodies like Cindy Crawford and Tyra Banks on the scene. [Fashionologie]
