Blaynistas, in honor of Eco Week and Earth Day take note of The Battalion Collection — an amazing contemporary “green” line. For shopping click here!
Editor’s Note: Earth Day is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment. The Battalion strives for minimal, recyclable, and biodegradable packaging. 90% of the fabrication they use – bamboo and organic cotton – are certified by Oeko Tex. Oeko–tex is an independent and reliable certification company in the organic world of apparel. The Battalion specializes in knits and woven fabrics that are eco-friendly, primarily bamboo, organic cotton blends, recycled polyester, and some cruelty free “peace” silk. At the hands of the designers, knit fabrics that have generally been synonymous with basic t-shirts and baby doll dresses, are now adapted for tailored jackets, form-fitting tops, and even red-carpet worthy dresses.
