Designer Isabel Toledo teams up with Payless ShoeSource to create an affordable collection. Possibly giving Christian Siriano stiff competition?

World Wide Web - Sultry Cuban-born fashion designer Isabel Toledo has decided to lend her impeccable eye to the masses and partner with Payless ShoeSource to launch an affordable (albeit highly stylish) line of accessories and footwear as early as September 2010.

Toledo, the designer behind Michelle Obama’s perfectly tailored Canary yellow inaugural design, will set a price point under $40 for a collection of “mixed materials such as patent leather, nylon, rubber and mesh” so everyone can dash out the door looking as put together as Mrs. Obama, all while saving a little cash along the way.
