KARL LAGERFELD WON’T BE GOING ANYWHERE

Rumors were swirling that Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz would take over Karl Lagerfeld’s reign at Chanel but those rumors were put to rest by the iconic French fashion house.

World Wide Web – As much as we love Alber Elbaz, we’re not ready to see Mr. Karl Lagerfeld part ways with Chanel so we’re relieved to hear that there was no truth to the rumors that Elbaz would replace Lagerfeld. UK Vogue reports that the French fashion house tried to squash the rumors this morning. A Chanel spokesperson told Vogue.com: ”Karl Lagerfeld is the creative designer of Chanel and has a long-term contract with the company. Replacing him is not an issue.” [UK Vogue]
