World Wide Web – DVF. That’s right, it’s none other than Ms. Diane Von Furstenberg. The legendary designer will be offering her creativity in another form and in another industry as it has been reported that Von Furstenberg will release an album. But the designer isn’t exactly going to be showing off her singing chops — whether she has them or not — instead she will compile an album that features songs by her favorite female artists to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, which also is the release date of the album. Artists for the album, titled “Proud to be a Woman,” include Estelle, Annie Lennox, Joss Stone and Santigold, showing that Ms. DVF has quite the musical taste. If you can’t wait til March 8, the album is already available on iTunes. Proceeds of the sales will go to Vital Voices, a charity championing women’s rights worldwide.
