A reality show that is as organizers of the event are in talks with a television network.

New York – Last September Fashion Night Out took place during New York Fashion Week and drew crowds of fans, shoppers and fashionistas to meet and mingle with designers and celebrities throughout New York City. So it’s no surprise that organizers of the event would take the success of the night as an opportunity to turn Fashion Night Out into something bigger. According to the New York Post, FNO’s organizers, which include Vogue, the CFDA and NYC & Co. are approaching networks for a reality show covering the event. Bravo, the former home of Project Runway, has expressed that they wouldn’t mind working with Vogue. A rep from the network told “Page Six, “We love fashion and Vogue and would like to find a way to work together with them.” But a FNO rep had this to say: “We are in talks with CBS, but there is nothing confirmed at this time.” CBS? Well that’s an unexpected network to have a reality show on Fashion Night Out, but then again it is the network that airs Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. And let’s not forget that during the promotion of The September Issue its main star Anna Wintour did two big interviews for CBS: Late Show with David Letterman and 60 Minutes. In other words, there is obviously an existing mutuality between CBS and Vogue so maybe CBS is the right network for the reality show if it becomes a reality. [NY Mag, New York Post, Vogue]
