Chanel displays its petal power during its couture show in Paris.

Paris – Although we haven’t covered the couture shows happening in Paris the past several days, we couldn’t pass on the recent Chanel couture collection. Why? Well 1) Chanel doesn’t disappoint thanks to its designer Karl Lagerfeld and 2) how can you not stop and stare in awe when the show features a jacket made from 13,000 satin flowers (shown left)? We love our innovative fashion and this is one of it. The Chanel show ended with a wedding gown that included a cape made from 200 meters of tulle and silk.
