Christian Dior will present two shows in Paris next week, affecting Giorgio Armani’s time slot. Armani lets fashion editors know how he feels about it in his e-mail.

Paris — Oh Paris Fashion Week just got more interesting, Blaynistas! The Paris shows begin next week and both Giorgio Armani and Christian Dior are presenting their collections down the runways. Dior is scheduled to show on Monday, Jan. 25 at 2:30 pm, but the French fashion house has decided to reshow the collection that same day at a later time — 5:30 pm — for VIP clients. This schedule change, however, affects the Armani show that is showing on Monday too as it has been moved an hour and thirty minutes later from its original time slot — 7:30 pm. Designer Armani isn’t too happy about the move and he lets fashion editors know in his email, calling Dior’s action as “arbitrary and indicative of a lack of respect for other people’s time and labor.” A Dior spokesman said that “it is not elegant to comment” but noted that Dior has presented two shows in previous seasons.
