NAOMI CAMPBELL NO LONGER A HOST

The supermodel was in talk to host the new series Britain’s Next Top Model but dropped out from the gig.

Britain -  Sigh. Although nothing official was made and there were only reports last month that she was in talk to be the host, a source tells The Daily Mail: “The producers felt the last series wasn’t taken as seriously as the American version because presenter Lisa Snowdon just couldn’t carry it off on her own. What was missing was a real diva supermodel, a British equivalent to US host Tyra Banks.” They added that Naomi was excited but had to drop out because “couldn’t reach an agreement over logistics or the amount of time she would have to commit.” The proposed X Factor-style show would see Naomi mentoring a group of aspiring models, while eliminating them down to a winner. X Factor is a UK reality show produced by American Idol judge Simon Cowell, which puts aspiring singers against each other after having been chosen from auditions. [Story: UK Vogue]
